1. Student Membership: It is open to students undergoing a course of study leading to a Degree/ Diploma in Library Science, subscribe and pay an admission fee of Rs.50/- and an annual subscription of Rs.300/- . The Total payable for “Associate Membership / Student Membership” is Rs. 350/- for a Year, which is renewable for further year.
2. Research Associate membership: It is open tostudentsundergoing a course of study leading to a M.Phil. & Ph.D. in Library Science, or JRF & SRF for Library & Information science, they may subscribe and pay an admission fee of Rs.50/- and an annual subscription of Rs. 400/- . The Total payable for “Research Associate Membership” is Rs. 450/- for a Year, which is renewable for further year.
3. Ordinary / Yearly Membership : It is open to all librarians whosatisfy the required minimum qualifications. viz, a Basic Bachelor’s Degree with a Degree/ Diploma in Library science.Subscribe and pay an admission fee of Rs. 50/- and an annual subscription of Rs. 500/-. The Total payable for “Ordinary Membership” is Rs. 550/- for a Year.
4. LifeMembership : It is opentoall candidates whosatisfythe required minimum qualifications viz, a Basic Bachelor’s Degree with a Degree/ Diploma in Library Science, subscribe and pay an admission fee of Rs.50/- and an advance of Rs. 2500/- (Rs. Two thousand five hundred only) in full of the same financial year of theAssociation. The Total payable for “Life Membership” is Rs. 2,550/- for Life.
5. Corporate Membership / Institutional Membership : It is open to all the Governing Council, on the application in the prescribed form, may admit on such conditions as may be specified in each case, as a corporate member of the Association, any University Department or institution devoted to the cause of library and information profession, and also any statutory corporation subscribe and pay an admission fee of Rs.50/- and an advance of Rs.5050/- (Rs. Five Thousand Five only) in full of the same financial year of the Association. There is no life membership for corporate bodies. The Total payable for “Corporate Membership” is Rs. 5050/- for a Year.
6. DonorMembership: It will be granted to eminentpersonality those who contribute and donate a sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) to the association.
7. Patron Membership: It will be granted to eminentpersonality those who contribute and donate a sum of Rs. 15,000/- (Fifteen thousand) to the association.

Note : Existing Ordinary/Yearly members can convert to Life Membership by paying an advance subscription of Rs. 2,000/- in full during the current year of membership.
A person seeking membership shall apply using the Membership Form by filling the online form or
hardcopy application with applicable payment, submitted to the General Secretary.

All members of the Association may nominate any person for membership.

• Nominations should be sent to the General Secretary in writing, providing details of the proposed member. The General Secretary will review and forward it to the President for approval. The President’s decision to admit a person as an Honorary Member must be unanimous.
• A person seeking Life Membership shall apply to the General Secretary in writing and fill the Standard Membership Form. Admission to Life Membership shall be effective only after
